Before today's show WWE Diva Ashley Massaro was spotted outside for about signing autographs for about 10 minutes.

Santino Marella Vs. Atlas Dabone

Ashley Massaro comes out and says its good to be back and that she will stay and watch the rest of the show with us. shley sits next to Chimel. Santino comes out and says to Ashle, "Ii know you like me but I have my Maria so I can't be with you." Santino talks about Beth destroying his Maria and says that he and Beth are the same size and that someday "I'm gonna beat you up." Santino would say something to Ashley and she would turn away. Santino said "I'm Gonna win! Bring out the loser."
Atlas DaBone comes out. Atlas has a big afro type haircut and is tall. Ashley stands up as soon as he comes out. Ashley kept acting out with her hands what Dabone was going to do right as he did a move. DaBone hits Santino with a move kind of like Abyss black hole slam for the win. Ashley gets on the ropes and hold the ropes open for Atlas and he catches her when she jumps into his arms. They walk out holding hands and waving to Santino. Santino gets on mic and says he's the winner. "Santino wins!"

RAW Return:
WWE Diva Ashley Massaro made her return to the ring tonight at a Raw house show in White Plains, NY. The word going around backstage is that she is moving permanently over to the Raw brand.

I know this might be stretching speculation too far, but I noticed Batista is featured on WWE's Royal Rumble poster. This could be a possible spoiler that Batista will drop the World Heavyweight Champioship sometime before the Rumble, possibly at Armageddon. Also it looks like Randy Orton is featured right there with Batista which could mean he may be dropping the WWE Title too. The poster looks like it is designed to feature the actual Rumble itself and the participants and usually the World Heavyweight Champion and the WWE Champion isn't in the Rumble match itself because the prize is a World Title shot at WrestleMania. I didn't notice Edge or The Undertaker in the poster or Chris Jericho either for that matter. ECW Champion CM Punk is also in the poster so does that mean he's not going to be Champion in January eiter? To compare, John Cena and Batista were featured in last year's Rumble poster while still being Champs. I know this is a long shot rumor, just thought readers might be interested.

Judas Mesias retained the AAA Heavyweight Title on Friday night in the main event of the Guerra de Titanes pay-per-view.

Leticia Cline's TNA contract officially expired earlier this week. She even put the date on her calendar of events on her official MySpace page.

The angles with Jackie/James Storm and Christy Hemme/Lance Hoyt showing problems between the couples have been put on hold for now because the company already has angles similar to that going on with Robert Roode and Ms. Brooks, and sometimes Karen and Kurt Angle.

One-half of the TNA World Tag Team Champions Tomko has given the company word that he is 100% for the Turning Point pay-per-view tonight and will compete in the 6-Man main event as scheduled.

Sources say after his promo on this past week's TNA iMPACT, Booker T was in a great mood and had lifted the spirits of everyone in the company with his enthusiasm for being there.

Mexican wrestler The Latin Lover is receiving lots of mainstream press in Mexico for participating on the "International Dancing With the Stars."

Rob Van Dam will be a special guest at Booker T's PWA show on 12/28 titled Christmas Chaos II in Pasadena, TX. Tickets went on sale today for the event.

Look for Booker T and Kaz to win the match against Christian and Robert Roode at tomorrow's Turning Point seeing as how Booker was on the losing end for his TNA debut last month.

A good possibility for the 6-man tag match with Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Samoa Joe vs. The Angle Alliance would have Joe carrying the match for his team and leaving Hall and Nash open for hot tags and short stints. The idea of the match is to showcase Samoa Joe as the standout superstar.

As previously posted, Candice Michelle is being advertised to return at the 12/29 RAW tapings here in Greensboro, NC. Candice just went through her first round of physical therapy right before the Thanksgiving holiday and is said to be in good spirits and ready to get back in action.

WWE Diva Torrie Wilson recently posted a blog on her official fansite saying her back has been bothering her lately and it's gotten to the point where she will be going through physical therapy to improve her condition, therefore she will be taking a few weeks off from action with WWE.

There's a strong rumor going around the entertainment industry saying former WWE Diva Rena "Sable" Lesnar/Mero will have a solid role on the next season of Desperate Housewives as a sister of the character Edie, played by Nicolette Sheridan, who does resemble Sable in some ways. Rena is still married to former WWE superstar Brock Lesnar.

The Sci-Fi Network sent out a press release this week touting their recent success in the ratings. The network praised both the Ghost Hunter and Battlestar Galactica shows but failed to mention ECW, which is one of Sci-Fi's top rated shows.

Maria tells WWE.com's latest Diva Dish that she spent Thanksgiving Day running a 5k race. The RAW Diva said she’s not a big fan of running, but her best friend, Emma, convinced Maria to run the race with her. “So I made it in 20 minutes, and I made it in the top half bracket of the runners, so I was pretty happy about that because that necessarily doesn’t happen when someone has never really run a 5k,” Maria said.

Kelly Kelly was said to be devastated backstage after her match with Layla on this past week's ECW show. Kelly had been spending a lot of time training and practicing the move she botched, her handspring elbow and actually hit it numerous times in practice with Layla.

WWE.com is reporting that the 10/28 edition of Friday Night SmackDown will be a Best of 2007 show with the "greatest matches of the year, as well as the most unbelievable and amazing moments."

Chris Jericho was online this past Wednesday afternoon with The Washington Post Online answering questions from fans about his career, return and his new book. Here is the full transcript courtesy of The Washington Post:

Chris Jericho: We're ready to rock it.

Falls Church, Va.: Chris, was it disappointing to you at all that your return probably was the worst-hidden secret in the business in the past five years? Or that it took place in South Florida, where fans really don't cheer for anything (and have nothing to cheer for ... I went to school in Miami, I can say this)?

Chris Jericho: No, not at all. I think that it was very cool. It wasn't intended to be much of a secret. That's why we gave them clues and basically told them the week before that it was me. I likened it to a movie trailer. And as far as the fans, I thought they were awesome, jumping up and down. Not everyplace can be Chicago, which is the best city. But I was happy with the way everything came out.

Washington: It was great to see you back on RAW last Monday. About your bio: What made you decide this was a good time for you to share your story?

Chris Jericho: It was one of the things I wanted to do for a while and when I decided to take a break from the WWE I thought it was a good time. And even more importantly I thought it was a unique story of a guy who traveled the world and went to Japan and Germany through wrestling. I knew it was going to take time to do and I wanted to put 100 percent of my effort into it, so that was one of the things I wanted to do when I left the WWE.

Portland, Ore.: Chris, I stopped watching wrestling a while ago, but I am still a major Jericholic. I've always wondered about that hilarious series of challenges you laid out to Bill Goldberg on Nitro. Given that there was never a match, were your comments scripted/approved, or were you winging it? Also, where did they dig up Ralphus? Long live the Man of 1004 Holds!

Chris Jericho: You should check out "A Lion's Tale," which has that whole story written in detail. Nothing was ever approved back in the WCW days, you just were given an angle and I made up the rest myself. He hated every minute of it, but that's just how it goes, I was just doing my job. As far as Ralphus was concerned, Goldberg was bringing in security guards, and I wanted some too, but I didn't want tough guys, I wanted goofy looking guys, and he was a truck driver for the company, and I saw Ralphus standing around and asked him if he wanted to be my security guard, and he said "sure, no problem." And that was basically how it all started.

Baltimore: How did you happen to become a pop culture guru that VH1 so heavily relies on? Are those "I Love the '80s" shows as fun as they look?

Chris Jericho: I don't know, I just have this superpower/curse to remember everything that's irrelevant, just all this useless trivia stored up in my head. I never knew what to do with all this useless knowledge, but somehow I got booked for one of those shows and suddenly they started booking me on all of them. So I don't know exactly how it happened, I'm just glad I get to use my useless powers for good.

Arlington, Va.: Hi Chris. I saw your "Me Want Title Match" graphic on Monday's RAW, and I was curious, did the WWE have to get permission to use that image of Cookie Monster? Also, what's the deal with your new metallic vest?

Chris Jericho: Nope, we just used it. Jim Henson can come back and sue use. Think it's kind of public domain.The metallic vest comes from the same fashion era as the checkerboard outfit I wore and all the sparkly jiffy-pop outfits. You wouldn't understand.

Washington: Have you changed your style at all (eliminated chair shots, etc.) after the studies about concussions? How seriously are wrestlers and the WWE taking that?

Chris Jericho: You have to take it very seriously and protect yourself. I don't think you'll change your style and not take chair shots part of the show is to use angles that make it 100 percent safe. There are guys who weren't doing that, and that was stupid. I've never taken a chair shot to the head because there are ways to avoid that.

Wantagh, N.Y.: Hi Chris, we've just passed the 10 year anniversary of the infamous Montreal Incident. I was wondering how it impacted you as a Canadian wrestler and a former Dungeon student. Has it informed any of the decisions you continue to make?

Chris Jericho: Not really, no. That's such a legendary story, but it's not like the entire industry was up in arms about it. I was in WCW and I knew about it, but everybody has opinions and think they know the whole story, but really only Vince, Shawn and Bret do, and they'd be much more able to answer that question. To me it was interesting, but it didn't really have anything to do with me.

Walls of Jericho: Chris, Triple H suffered his well-publicized torn quadriceps injury in a match involving you. Did you know of his injury during the match? If so, would you have applied your signature move, the "Walls of Jericho," which puts considerable stress on the quadriceps?

Chris Jericho: I knew he was hurt, because he told me so, and I asked if he still wanted to do it, and he said yes. When the match is going on, the show must go on. He wanted to continue on with it and we did it, and I don't know if it made things worse or not. You can't really know those things in hindsight. He felt very strongly about doing it, so we did it.

Washington: Have you found any real differences in either the locker room or in working in front of the crowd since your return? Or does it feel like you never left?

Chris Jericho: Pretty much feels like I never left. Obviously there's some new faces, some guys I've never met before, but wrestling's like a big family and you get to know people pretty deeply when you're around them all the time. And the crowds are he crowds, they're excited, they're great, and some cities are more into it than others, but they're always there to have a good time. That never changes.

Washington: Hey Chris. I've tried to keep up with wrestling lately, but I think sometimes a lot of the performers sometimes take themselves too seriously, and seem more like determined pro football players than "entertainers." How do you keep the balance between being an engaging personality and a wrestler whose abilities are respected?

Chris Jericho: I think you can be entertaining both inside and outside the ring. You have to connect with the crowd in as many ways you can, both during the match and outside of it.

Falls Church, Va.: Early in your career, your "Lion Tamer" submission move was similar to the Boston Crab, but your move included putting your knee to someone's head. As you evolved, the Lion Tamer became the Boston Crab. Was the original submission hold considered too dangerous?

Chris Jericho: No, it was just hard to do to really big guys. I used to do that move to smaller guys, but to do that with a guy like Kane or Big Show or Triple H, it was just to hard to move around that way. I wanted to change it so that it would look the same no matter who I was doing it on.

Seattle: Chris, what are some of the major difference between the wrestling landscape of today, and when you started your career? Also, how integral was your time spent in Japan to your development as a pro wrestler?

Chris Jericho: I think spending the time in Japan that I did was very beneficial, because you were learning a different style and culture, both inside and outside the ring. It really gave me a lot of respect for what I was doing, gave me a lot of discipline, and made me come to terms with myself with regard to whether this was what I really wanted to do. Spending 10-week stretches in a foreign country really let me figure out that this is what I wanted to do in my life. It was really fortunate to go to a Japan and get paid to be there. There are people who save for years to do something like that, but at 19 years old I got to go and make my living there and do what I wanted to do.

Potomac, Md.: Any sense of irony, given that all of the things Y2J said about saving the company in 1999 seem to apply about 100 times more now?

Chris Jericho: Yeah, it's interesting. That is kind of the reason I came up with the "Save Us Y2J" idea. I'm not implying that the company needs to be saved, but I think it needs to be shaken up by someone forthright and creative. I think it is a beneficial situation for everybody to have a character like Jericho involved.

Claverack, N.Y.: Welcome back, Chris. We missed you. Obviously the business has been rocked with some unspeakable tragedies recently, culminating in the horrible loss of Chris Benoit just this past summer. I think you were matched with the Wolverine in your first pay-per-view; could you share with us a bit about what working with him was like?

Chris Jericho: He was probably the best actual technical wrestler I worked with, a tremendous performer and a machine training and a positive influence on me careerwise. I knew him personally for 15 years and he was one of my best friends. Something I deal with every day.

Chris Jericho: That's about it, gotta split. I'm really impressed with the amount and diversity of questions, and that's why Jerichoholics are the best fans in the world.

Bret Hart, WWE live event, Supershow

Bret Hart's book, Hitman: My Real Life in the Cartoon World of Wrestling is ranked #7 among the best selling non-fiction books this week on Amazon.ca. Still no official update on when the book will be released here in the States.

The 11/10 WWE live event at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia set a building record of 15,506 fans in attendance.

The big WWE tri-brand Supershow in Ft. Myers, Florida the night before the Survivor Series pay-per-view drew a sellout crowd of 7,500 fans with a gate of over $250,000.

WWE will be holding another Supershow on 1/26 in Providence, RI at the Dunkin' Donuts Center, the night before the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. The main event being advertised is Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton and Umaga. The SmackDown main event being advertised is Batista vs. Finlay for the World Heavyweight Championship. As we all know, plans are sometimes changed and there's always that chance that Batista won't be the champ by then.

Ted DiBiase, RAW, RVD signing, Y2J on MTV

WWE will be releasing a Ted DiBiase autobiography on 6/10/2008. The book is available for pre-order on Amazon.com for $10.88. DiBiase will write the book with author Tom Caiazzo.

The 10/22 RAW was watched live by 96.6% of its viewers, meaning 3.4% watched that particular episode on tape. This was the RAW before Cyber Sunday that was headlined by Randy Orton and Mr. Kennedy vs. Shawn Michaels and Jeff Hardy.

WWE's site has a new article up with Matt Hardy where the SmackDown superstar says he is now resting at home and is ready to return to action. “I was being pumped full of antibiotics for four days straight last week to combat all the toxins that had seeped into my body and poisoned my insides,” said Matt. “The thing that is more aggravating than anything else is the soreness. Not just because of the incision, but because after they removed the appendix, and because it had burst, they took saline and sprayed down the intestines, the kidneys and the abdominal cavity and then brushed those organs clean.” Matt continued, “And those organs aren’t supposed to be moved around like that, so it’s just incredible discomfort. But I am up and walking around a little. So one week later, I am glad I am feeling this good compared to where I was last Tuesday.”

Fan reports from the RAW dark match on Monday night say Paul London appeared to injure his elbow or arm during the match with Charlie Haas. London lost that match. If you attended the event and have anything else, please send it in.

According to a report released today by authorities in the Nick Hogan car crash, Hulk Hogan was with his son Nick, John Graziano who was injured, and two other friends of Nick's, Barrett Lawrence and Daniel Jacobs when Hulk purchased 2 cases of Miller Lite, 2 cases of Corona Extra, 1 case of Miller Chill and 5 bags of ice at an Albertson's store in Clearwater, FL. The group of five then spent time boating before being turned away at a local establishment, Shepard's Tiki Bar, because Nick was underage. A bouncer for Shepard's told authorities that everyone in the group entered the bar holding bottles of Corona, except Nick, who was drinking from a green cup. The decision was then made to go to Arigato's Steakhouse in Clearwater with Nick and John driving the yellow Supra and Daniel and Barrett driving a silver Dodge Viper. Both of cars were owned by Hulk Hogan. Investigators allege that Nick was racing the Supra against the Viper when he lost control and crashed. Both Jacobs and Lawrence deny racing Nick at the time of the crash. When interviewed by investigators, Lawrence claimed that the Viper he was in, the Supra, a motorcycle and another vehicle were all at an intersection at a red light and when the light turned green, he claims Jacobs cut infront of the motorcycle to pass Nick and when they did, they heard the Supra crash behind them. Lawrence told authorities that the Supra that Nick was driving was at or near 100 miles per hour at the time of the crash. Nick Hogan is being charged as an adult and faces the following charges: Reckless Driving Involving Serious Bodily Injury, Use of a Motor Vehicle in Commission of a Felony, Being Under the Age of 21 and Operating a Vehicle with a Breath-Alcohol Level of .02 or Higher and Having Illegal Window Tint on a Vehicle. Hulk Hogan's attorney denied comment when contacted by Tampa Bay Channel 10, saying that he had not seen the official report yet.

RAW Thanksgivning ratings, WM 23, and Ric Flair

Here are a few interesting numbers for you: The Thanksgiving week edition of RAW last year drew a 3.7 last year, a 3.6 two years ago, and a 3.9 three years ago. This year’s 3.5 rating for RAW on Nov 19 was the lowest for a Thanksgiving week RAW since the 3.1 rating 10 years ago.

WWE issued a press release focusing on WrestleMania 23’s economic impact in Detroit earlier this year. The event, which drew over 80,000 people to the Ford Field in April, generated an estimated $29.7 million in economic impact for the city. According to the report, WrestleMania 23 supported the equivalent of 334 full-year jobs.

The plan right now is for Ric Flair’s winning streak to continue up to WrestleMania 24. However, if the company feels that flair is being too old school or is showing up younger talent, they won’t hesitate to pull the plug on the entire storyline.

Amageddon, Russell Simpson, another hugee return?

Mellon Arena sent out an email today promoting WWE Armageddon which will be held at the venue on Sunday, December 16th with a start time of 7:45 p.m. EST. The email promotes the newly added WWE Championship Match featuring the return of Chris Jericho vs. WWE Champion Randy Orton! Tickets are still on sale at all TicketMaster locations.

Russell Simpson is gone from Ohio Valley Wrestling. He only worked a few matches which were several weeks ago. He previously worked in Japan and did some enhancement work on television.

WWE is said to be on the upward swing of things with the quality of writing improving and the returns of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Edge, Undertaker, and Ric Flair. They are also negotiating with at least one more individual for a major return.

HHH heel return?, Snadman, Rob Conway, Goldberg

Sources within the WWE locker room say that Triple H ultimately wants to work as a heel in the company and eventually feud with John Cena. However, with Cena not being able to work next year’s WrestleMania, there has been an idea at least talked about of Triple H turning on Shawn Michaels to headline the big event.

Released developmental talent Ryan Reeves has return to OVW on his own, attempting to secure a new developmental contract. Reeves competed in the 2004 Tough Enough competition.

Here are some more notes from the Nasty Boys appearance in a dark match before last week's SmackDown/ECW tapings. Reportedly, they got the biggest crowd reaction behind Undertaker. They came out to their old WCW entrance music in which they sing. They did their trademark "Pit Stop" maneuver during the match. Drew McIntyre took his first pinfall in a WWE ring after Sags nailed him with the Diamond Cutter while Knobbs had him a fireman's carry position. Also, Knobbs worked the majority of the match.

Shane McMahon and Carl DeMarco were in Brazil a few weeks ago where they finalized a major television deal in the country. Brazil has been one of the markets that the company has wanted to open up as RAW and SmackDown will air in the country on the SBT television network. The company will send Shawn McMahon, John Cena, The Great Khali, and Melina to Sao Paolo on November 29th for promotional work in the country.

The Rock on his way back?

Dave Meltzer is reporting that WWE is trying to line up some huge surprises for the 15th Anniversary RAW special next month. WWE has even contacted former WWE Champion The Rock for an appearance. If he did agree it would likely be a video segment and not live. Expect WWE to pull out some big surprises for the show. The 3-hour special will air Monday night December 12th. The show will start 1 hour earlier, at 8PM eastern.

As noted last night, Nattie Neidhart worked a dark match against Victoria at last night’s ECW/SmackDown tapings from Roanoke, Virginia.

Two new matches were announced for WWE Armageddon at last night’s tapings. As expected, Finlay vs. The Great Khali was confirmed and Batista vs. Edge vs. The Undertaker in a three-way match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship was also announced.

Carlito has been removed from the opening video on RAW and replaced with Chris Jericho. Take this for what it’s worth, however, it is expected that Carlito is on his way out of WWE.

The main event for next week’s episode of ECW on Sci-Fi will be a Pick Your Poison match with ECW Champion CM Punk choosing to face either Big Daddy V or Mark Henry. Next week’s edition of ECW on Sci-Fi will air on Thursday at 10 PM EST instead of its normal timeslot. It will be interesting to see how the show does as it will go head-to-head with the second hour of TNA iMPACT.

Just a reminder that ECW will air on Thursday next week at 10EST. That goes head-to-head with the second hour of TNA iMPACT!. The show will be taped Tuesday night. I can't believe they didn't even note the day change during this weeks telecast. That shows you how much they care about ECW.

Dave sent this in: The live broadcast of WWE Raw, that airs every Monday on Sky Sports 3 is moving. As of next Monday 3rd December, RAW will still be live at 2am, but will be on Sky Sports 1. Also, the "15th Anniversary RAW" will air live one hour earlier at 1am on Sky Sports 1. WWE programming on the whole will be moving off Sky Sports 3 onto both Sky Sports 1 + Sky Sports 2 in the next few weeks.

At this point, Ric Flair is being considered for the main attraction for next year's WWE hall of fame. Mae Young's name has also surfaced as a possible inductee.

In between the SD! taping and ECW taping tonight (there was about a 20 minute delay) they did a match with Drew Macintyre defeating James Curtis.It's interesting to note that with the huge delay in between the two shows nearly a quarter of the crowd left before ECW even began.It was Nattie Neidhart who faced Victoria in a dark match prior to the SD! tapings.

Carlito is booked for a big Three Kings Day show in Puerto Rico for WWC on 1/6. AAA in Mexico is also attempting to book Carlito as well.

Today would have been Davey Boy Smith's 45th birthday. Smith, the father of current suspended RAW superstar D.H. Smith, died on May 18, 2002 at age 39.

Michelle McCool & Jamie Noble are backstage talking about Chuck Palumbo. It's Chuck vs. Noble later on tonight.

CM Punk vs. Kenny Dykstra is up next. Huge pop for CM Punk. Very even back and forth action to begin. Punk used lots of footwork but Kenny was able to keep him grounded. Good match so far. CM Punk gains control though and is able to hit his kick knee to the face finisher.

Rey Mysterio & Kane vs. Viscera & MVP is up next. They did all four entrances with lots of stalling. Huge pop for Mysterio. Big Daddy V was in for a second and then MVP took over. Rey got the hot tag and the match went back and forth between Rey and MVP. Rey went for a 619 but was tripped up. Big Daddy V came back in for another short period. Kane and Rey team together for some double team moves. Kane hits a clothesline and Rey hits a splash followed by a 619 on MVP for the win. Good ending and the crowd is super hot live.

We get another Edge video hyping how great he is and tonight's main event.
Batista is interviewed in the back about his match tonight with Edge for the World title.

Jamie Noble vs. Chuck Palumbo. Chuck hits his head on the turnbuckle and Noble rolls him up for the win.

Backstage we see a comedy segment with Vince McMahon and Khali's translator. It's announced that Finlay vs. Khali is on for the Armageddon PPV.

The t-shirt guy is out shooting stuff into the crowd and JBL is getting himself some heel heat by calling the Roanoke fans 'Monkeys' for jumping around like idiots for a shirt. Stalling.

Edge vs. Batista for the World title. This match went around 30 minutes and was said to be good. Edge is out to big heel heat and Batista is out to a massive pop. Match starts with Batista on top. Batista uses lots of power moves to begin. Edge ducks out of the ring and gets major heel heat. Crowd is loud and into this one. The two fight outside the ring. Batista throws Edge back in and charges at him only to have Edge pull the ropes down sending in flying back to the outside. Edge is about to go for a spear and the lights go out and the gong hits. After about 10 seconds, 'Taker appears in the middle of the ring and chokeslams Batista as Edge escaped. The match ends on a DQ.

Teddy Long then returns and says since Vickie isn't there tonight he can still make matches so it'll be The Undertaker vs. Batista vs. Edge for the World title at Armageddon. The show will end there. ]]

PWTorch is reporting that last week's edition of WWE RAW was the worst-performing Thanksgiving week edition of the show in ten years.

As posted earlier, Nattie Neidhart worked a WWE show this past Saturday night. Nattie, along with fellow developmental talent Charles "The Hammer" Evans are on the road working shows with WWE this week.

The WWE produced "Triumph and Tragedy of World Class Championship Wrestling" DVD set will be released this December in the U.S. and Great Britain.

Local promos here in Greensboro, NC for the final RAW of 2007 here at the Greensboro Coliseum are advertising the WWE return of Candice Michelle. Candice was projected to be out for six to eight weeks after she was injured on the 10/22 edition of RAW. That final RAW of 2007 will tape Saturday, December 29th and air on that Monday which is New Year's Eve.

Triple H and Umaga worked steel cage matches over the weekend on Saturday and Sunday at the WWE RAW Live events. Fan reports from both shows said the cage matches were disappointing as Triple H and Umaga didn't use the cage itself much.

No information has been released yet regarding the 2008 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony in Orlando, Florida next March. According to various reports, WWE hasn't even started to work on inductee ideas at this point.

- I have no idea if or when eliminated diva Jessica Hatch will be signed by the WWE but I do hear she has the desire to be a WWE diva. I would suggest that she head to Louisville and learn to wrestle and to work on her verbal skills and then watch the negotiation process begin.

- What is the benefit of commenting on a Beth Phoenix vs. Gail Kim match when we both know it is not on the horizon? Both bring different attributes to the table and both are excellent human beings which is too often overlooked.

- I was extremely pleased to see the return of Chris Jericho to Monday Night Raw. The build up and the final presentation was nicely done. The live crowd in Ft. Lauderdale, albeit some what laid back throughout the night at times seemed to come to life when Chris made his appearance. The introduction of any talent is crucial but not as crucial as the plan going forward on a weekly or regular basis. It looks like we may be heading for Jericho vs Orton at Armageddon if I had to make a guess. Jericho is a great addition to the locker room. Of course, being an “old schooler” I don’t believe in bringing any talents, rookies or veterans, into a locker room who are going to be disruptive of which Jericho is definitely not. Chris is a credit to the business.

-Matt Striker’s career, in my opinion, is as a manager and not as a wrestler even though Striker’s mat skills are just fine. It just seems to me that Striker can fill a much needed void as a wrestling manager and become a big time player with the chance to be around for a long time and to not leave the business with the physical ailments that often time plague some grapplers.

- I don’t know if Bobby Lashley will be back for the royal rumble or not as he is still rehabbing his surgically repaired torn labrum. I don’t expect to see Lashley before the first of the year based on how his rehab is progressing. It is a slow process to say the least. Wrestling at the rumble would be great for Lashley and the fans but mother nature and Lashley’s own pain threshold will have a lot to say about when Bobby returns. Lashley’s surgery was a major deal.

- I have always said that the sky is the limit as it relates to Shelton Benjamin’s potential. Shelton now being a part of ECW gives him a chance to get a fresh start and to hopefully realize his potential. Much of that is up to Shelton. We have all seen Shelton do enough in certain bouts to turn our heads and for us to say “wow”. For Shelton to get to the next level he also needs to be heard from on the mic and when that opportunity is presented to him Shelton must deliver.

The two had one child – Nick Bollea, 17, who was arrested this month in connection with a wreck that left a passenger, John Graziano, with severe brain injuries. Linda Bollea is seeking child support and a life insurance policy to cover child support in the event that Hogan dies, the petition states. She wants wherever she decides to live to be Nick Bollea's primary residence, with Hogan allowed liberal visitation, the petition states. TNA: No Surender and Year 1 DVD and Booker

After WWE recently re-did the WWE Wellness Policy, there is a huge fear of being fired among some of the Superstars because there isn't a viable "WCW-like" promotion out there. TNA isn't perceived to be on the same level as WCW was because there's a lot less exposure and money. TNA does have a reputation for hiring talents who were released from WWE due to drug issues, but at this point they're not going to take a released WWE star who lost his job over a drug failure unless he is a main event caliber star or he is friends with the right people in TNA.The newly revised Wellness Policy is supposed to close up some of the loopholes that were in the previous Policy and make it harder on potential users.

It looks like ECW Champion may finally have a new contender to his title in Shelton Benjamin. The new ECW Superstar is featured in a storyline article on WWE.com where it appears they are pushing him towards the title.

After the mess that The Nasty Boys caused at this past week's SmackDown tapings, a number of key people backstage were questioning why the former Tag Team champions were given a tryout match in the first place. Former WWE Champion John Cena's special appearance at the Florida Championship Wrestling show on 11/27 has been canceled due to Cena handling WWE business outside of the United States. No more details were released but Cena is probably doing promotional work overseas or something.

There has been brief talk about putting WWE United States Champion MVP in a short feud with WWE Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy.

A 1/500 scaled version of the WWE Classic Superstars 16 action figure of The Giant Gonzalez is being released with real feeling hair on his body.

Chris Jericho has added another book signing to his tour. Y2J will be at the Books a Million in Nashville, TN on 12/26 at 2PM.On a related note, it looks like Jericho working WWE live events may be a possibility. WWE has a RAW live event that same night in Nashville with a 7PM bell time. Jericho hasn't been advertised for any WWE live events yet it's expected he will start soon, possibly this weekend. Jericho has said in the past that when he returned, he wanted it to be a full time return.

TNA: Name changes and BIG name coming

TNA Knockout Talia Madison recently spoke on her MySpace about her recent name change. She appeared on iMPACT last night under the name Velvet Sky and here is what she had to say: "I've received lots of messages regarding the new names Angel Williams and myself are now going by in TNA. Most of your questions were asking if it was us that changed our names and the answer to that is no. TNA management are the ones that gave us those names. However, I will still be going by the name "Talia Madison" at my indy shows. :) That name will not die. Hope that clears it up for everyone."

TNA is reportedly in negotiations with a well known international wrestler to have him come in and work a regular role with the company. We hope to have more details on this soon.

I noticed something as I was going through WWE.com for Matt Hardy & Amy(Lita) photos, for a new video, and I went into the Alumini section and NO DIVAS! Molly Holly, Lita, and any other Divas that might have been in there. I am now wonder what's going on with that. All of the guys were there, except Jericho because he's on RAW, and I'm confused now. There is an in-depth article with Bret Hart on The Barrie Advance web site out of Canada. The article is promoting Hart’s autobiography with him offering several quotes. Below are the highlights:

Bret on the goal of his autobiography: “I think as I lived my life and as I went through different tragedies, like even my brother Owen’s death and all that, it just became so surreal. And I thought people would really want to know what it was like to be me. And I started realizing that I had a pretty interesting story, if I could just put it into words and spit it all out, it might be a really fascinating read for somebody. I thought, ‘jeez, I could probably write a book about myself,’ because it’s pretty fast paced and it’s full of a lot of twists and turns and a lot of villains and a lot of backstabbing and a lot of politics. You know, I think the whole experience was pretty incredible sometimes.”

Regarding problems with Hart family members: "You get that (jealousy) in every family, I guess, with different siblings. I just think that the problems in my family aren’t that much different that everyone else. Most people say have, like, four in a family. They might have one person out of that four that everyone in the family doesn’t get along with, one black sheep … if you magnify that to a family of 12, then you’ve got three or four people who you clash with, ego-wise.”

Opinion of steroids: “There’s no reason to be taking steroids … especially in a business where it’s a pre-determined outcome. It’s irrelevant how you look sometimes, especially as far as steroids go. If you lift weights, and you train really hard, you will look fine. For most of my career I looked pretty good without steroids. And if there’s any lessons to be learned from the last few years is that they really don’t need steroids in wrestling. They should abolish them, and wipe them out, and hopefully they will.”

On Women being his weakness on the road instead of drugs: "I think if I had done anything different than the way I did it, I don’t think I would have made it. I just had to do whatever it was to take care of my brain first, just to make sure in my mind I didn’t get too depressed. I think you could easily get laid low by depression and sad feelings, and being homesick. You’re missing everything at home, you’re missing your kids. The only other way to cope with that kind of life sometimes was just to throw a couple of pills in your mouth, and zonk out, and wash them down with a few beers and everything just goes away, and you kind of stagger up to your room and flop out on your bed, and you sleep and you get up and do it again the next day. I’m so glad I didn’t fall into that routine. I might have been morally a better person, maybe I would have been faithful, but I might not have survived. I think, in the end, I used a lot of the people I knew from different places and situations to take me away from the depression of being away from home all the time."

Former WWE star Aaron "Jesus" Aguilera was on a recent episode of CMT's "Trick My Trucker" show. He was working as a trainer to help truckers lose weight.

Former WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus is scheduled to appear at the Canadian Football League Grey Cup festivities today in Toronto. She will present the Rookie of the Year award. Stratus will also be the host of the Maxim Players Party at the CN Tower tomorrow as well.

With Edge’s return at the Survivor Series, it would seem that the former multiple time champion will be back in the ring as early as this weekend.

I have no idea if Chyna will ever return to the WWE but as Gorilla Monsoon would say, “it’s highly unlikely.” However, I hear she appeared on a video if you are so anxious to see “more of her.” I seriously wish her well with great health and happiness, but her path best traveled most likely doesn’t include wrestling. Just an opinion.

I find it purely coincidental that both Lashley and Cena were injured while competing against Kennedy. I see no correlation whatsoever, but conspiracy theorists might feel compelled to disagree.

The 1997 Survivor Series definitely has taken a life of its own and will most likely be remembered by fans and the wrestling media for years to come. I don’t remember that event as a stellar moment for me professionally and wish the controversial events of that night had never occurred. I was made aware of a wrestling internet story that said that I knew what was going to occur that evening in advance as it related to the Hitman-HBK match and that assumption is total manure and absolutely, 100% untrue. The best way I can describe that chain of event is is “unfortunate history.”

There will definitely be another Tribute to the Troops TV show this year and it airs on USA Network on Monday December 24…Christmas Eve.

As I understand it, Monday Night Raw will be broadcast in Hi-Def at some point in 2008.

Last I heard Bobby Lashley was due back in December, but I have not heard any updates lately.

One half of the TNA World Tag Team Champions Travis Tomko underwent emergency surgery today. We don't have anymore details other than the New Japan promotion announced it was for a torn "muscle under the side." We should have more details available soon.

TNA sent out a Mobile Alert this afternoon announcing that a "Feast or Fired" battle royal match has been added to the 12/2 Turning Point pay-per-view. The match will result in one member of the TNA roster being fired and three title shots will be awarded to various winners of the match. Former WCW star Psicosis has been fired from the AAA promotion after missing his fourth TV taping. He missed the most recent one because he was working a show in the U.S. Psicosis makes between $1,000 and $1,500 working U.S. shows and only $400 per show with AAA.

Matt Hardy Speaks after his surgery

“I am feeling ok, I have definitely been better,” said the recovering Hardy. “The surgery lasted between 60-90 minutes, and the prognosis was that I was lucky they got in there when they did.” Matt continued, “The appendix had already ruptured, and the toxins from that rupture were poisoning my body. I am used to the aches from my career, but this was the most miserable pain I had ever experienced. I had cold chills with hot sweats, and just couldn’t find a comfortable way to lie down or sit. I felt like I was dying it was so bad.”The problem became serious when Hardy made his way to Tampa last night. “I made my way to the arena last night, and still was in such considerable pain that I went straight to the trainer’s room, and they sent me to the hospital for a CT scan.” The scan revealed the enflamed appendix, but the burst was not seen until the appendectomy was underway. Now Matt Hardy must face a road of recovery that will see him out of action much longer than he had envisioned as he chases the United States Championship held by MVP. “I will be here in the hospital until the antibiotics clean the rest of the toxins from my body, and then from there it will be anywhere from 8-10 weeks before I get back into action,” Hardy explained.

As reported earlier, Jerry Saggs and Brian Knobbs re-formed as The Nasty Boys tag team at last night’s SmackDown/ECW tapings from Tampa, Florida to wrestle their first WWE match in many years. The dark match featuring the former WWF and WCW World Tag Team Champions has left a ton of heat on them both.According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, The Nasty Boys acted as if they were huge stars returning and took far too much time to get to into the ring, interacting with friends and family members sitting at ringside. Brian Knobbs entered the ring with his back to the hard camera while partner Jerry Saggs got into the ring way to close to their opponents Drew McIntye and Dave Taylor, making them look stupid.After the match started, The Nasty Boys were said to have worked very stiff with not only McIntye who is only 21 years old but with Dave Taylor who is a well respected veteran. McIntyre tried to be respectful and take the abuse but finally had enough and began returning stiff shots. One backstage source that the dark match was one of the worst things that you could ever hope to see.The disaster of a match caused the SmackDown taping to finish up late, ending at 9:54 PM EST, leaving the WWE ring crew very little time to switch the set and ring for the live broadcast of ECW on Sci-Fi.

Rick sent the following: I just thought your readers might find this amusing. I was doing some shopping with the wife at Best Buy here in town last night and we're standing in line and see this middle-aged lady ahead of us with 6 or 7 of the Best Buy exclusive John Cena DVD pack. It comes with a t-shirt, dog tags and some other stuff I think. Anyway, they told her she could only buy 4 and the lady just flipped. She really made a huge scene right there in the middle of all these people, ranting and raving about her kids and her whole family needed one and they "loved John Cena." It was quite amusing to watch until it just became outright ridiculous. The manager told the lady she could go to another Best Buy store and buy 4 more if she needed them but each store had a 4-item limit on the special DVD set. Former WWE and WCW tag team The Nasty Boys worked a dark match last night at the SmackDown tapings, defeating Dave Taylor and Drew McIntyre. The former Tag Team champions had been rumored be working a dark match at the show for months now. Reports said the team actually looked pretty good in the ring.

If you missed it last night on ECW, Kevin Thorn returned with a new look and a more serious attitude. Thorn has dropped the vampire gimmick for a more generic look and shorter hair.

SmackDown Superstar Matt Hardy underwent an emergency appendectomy at a Tampa area hospital tonight. Doctors expect the surgery to keep Hardy out of action anywhere from 1-3 months.An appendectomy by definition is the removal of the appendix from the lower right area of the abdomen. Oftentimes, if the surgery is not performed immediately, severe consequences can follow.Hardy’s emergency surgery comes less than a week after suffering a knee injury at the hands of his former partner, the United States Champion MVP. Did the attack by MVP help lead to the appendectomy that Hardy underwent tonight?

MLB star Wade Boggs is in attendance.

WWE U.S. Champion MVP pinned Rey Mysterio. No Matt or Jeff Hardy appearances. A segment was done where JBL presented MVP with a diamond ring.

World Heavyweight Champion Batista came out for an interview. During the course of the taping, it is revealed that Edge's return was done in cahoots with Vickie Guerrero and the two are together, and they were even shown making out at one point. Edge vs. Batista is announced for next week's show. The Undertaker gets involved and gives Guerrero a Tombstone at the end of the episode, with Vicky going out on a stretcher.

WWE Tag Champions John Morrison and The Miz defeated The Major Brothers.- Jamoe Noble defeated Chuck Palumbo- Finlay and Hornswoggle defeated Mark Henry in a Handicap match. Great Khali came out and got involved after the match.

Nick Hogan has had his license suspended for two years, one year for operating a vehicle after drinking alcohol under the age of 21 and the other for not paying a ticket. The accident that Nick was involved in left friend, John Graziano, permanently in a nursing home with no chance of recovering.

TMZ has posted footage of Linda Hogan from a 2005 documentary titled "Vehicular Lunatics" illegally racing a car with daughter Brooke in the passenger seat filming the entire incident with a camera.

"Oh, I love it. I love it. The rush, the speed on the road, stereo blasting, heart-pounding, racing in between all the cars, dodging the cops. It's awesome."

Linda denies saying this even though it was featured on a DVD. Racing must run in the family.

Prior to the dark match on RAW, DX came out and Triple H began to do the DX introduction but Shawn Michaels stopped him and informed him that they were off the air and Vince said that they could no longer do that? Triple H replied with, “We never do what Vince says.”
After the match between DX vs. Umaga and Kennedy in a dark match on RAW, Triple H started to flirt with some ladies, one of them lifted her shirt and flashed the audience. While this took place, HBK was in the corner praying and covering his eyes.

Lilian Gacria will be the on El Show De Fernando Hidalgo in Miami on America Teve Channel 41 tonight at 7PM. She is expected to be performing and take part in an interview.

Dave Scherer is reporting that everyone backstage in WWE was happy with Chris Jericho’s return and how it came off in front of the live audience on RAW last night. Jericho was said to be in great spirits and happy to be back with the company.

WWEShop.com has released a new “Ric Flair and The Four Horsemen” t-shirt. I noticed the shirt on the web site sometime last week, but it probably means nothing and is just being sold to capitalize on holiday sales. Flair will return to WWE on RAW next Monday night.

CNBC has a new story online today talking about the growth of the UFC and how they feel that is taking away from WWE’s popularity. The news outlet wrote, "The sport is also taking share from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), which needs to find a way to counter the trend or risk being in serious trouble."

WWE did video and photo shoots with several superstars in Naples, Florida over the weekend. According to Mike Johnson, it is believed that the footage will be used in upcoming Royal Rumble pay-per-view commercials.

WWE will be promoting a RAW event in Seoul in February according to a report by the Korea Times.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Batista was recently interviewed by TheAdvocate.com to promote his new book. In the piece, Batista talks about growing up with his mother that was gay, his relationship with Pat Patterson, and more.

Local advertisements are promoting Batista and Rey Mysterio vs. The Great Khali and Finlay for the November 27th SmackDown tapings in Richmond, Virginia. It is likely that this will be a dark match main event.

Randy Orton's marathon runner on RAW last night was WWE fan Jon Palmar. Palmar was featured in a NY Times article from WrestleMania earlier this year as he was interviewed waiting outside the THQ Superstars Challenge. The article said Palmar was an 18 year old who was soon to graduate high school in Miami, FL and said he was an aspiring professional wrestler: “And I want to become a wrestler myself. You know, some steroids and I’ll be able to do it. To accomplish my dreams I’m willing to do whatever it takes,” he said.I believe Palmer is still training to be a professional wrestler and has recently written a column for a wrestling website.

Chris Jericho has been added to the WWE RAW Roster page. All signs point to Jericho feuding with Randy Orton for the WWE Title. Does anyone else feel a Royal Rumble win for Y2J is coming?

As previously reported, TNA is still trying to extend Scott Hall's dates with the company. Once he's done with an on air role with the company, he may come onboard as a backstage agent or another similar role. It's believed that he has still yet to sign a contract but the two are still working on coming terms on a contract. If a deal is made, it won't be an exclusive deal so Scott can continue to work his dates for the WWC promotion in Puerto Rico.

TNA World Champion Kurt Angle's opponent for the big 1/4 Tokyo Dome show has been named as former IWGP Champion and WCW star Yuji Nagata. It's expected TNA will air highlights from the big Dome show on iMPACT.

TNA has officially signed ODB to a Knockouts contract.

Booker T and Rellik's profiles have been added to the TNA Roster page. They have yet to add profiles for Scott Hall, ODB, Angel Williams, Talia Madison or Sharmell, among others.

After RAW went off the air last night, DX defeated Mr. Kennedy and Umaga in a dark main event. DX did their usual comedy stuff on the mic.

As previously posted, before RAW last night, former WCW star Norman Smiley worked a dark match, losing to Vladimir Kozlov in about five minutes.Smiley got a huge pop from the crowd and has worked a number of dark matches for WWE over the years but has yet to land a deal.

Chris Jericho has added two new book signings to his tour that was believed to be over. Jericho will be appearing this Wednesday on 11/21 at the St. Pete Times Forum Plaza Arena from 5-7PM in Tampa, FL and 12/14 at the MacDill Air Force Base from 11AM until 1PM in Tampa, FL.

Vince McMahon stated in an interview with the Orlando Sentinel that 30 performers have been suspended since the Wellness Policy started in February 2006. 11 of the 30 suspensions came from people who slipped through. In other words, 11 of the suspensions came for the government investigation of Signature Pharmacy, not from drug test failures.

Randy Orton, the current WWE champion, was still allegedly receiving packages from Signature Pharmacy after failing a test and being suspended, and then was protected from another suspension for reasons that can only be speculated on.

In terms of Chris Benoit's testosterone/epitestosterone ratio at the time of his death, it would be the third highest t/e ratio ever tested in the state on Nevada.

Today would have been Elizabeth Ann Hulette's (Miss Elizabeth) 47th birthday. Hulette passed away on May 1, 2003.

The reason as to why WWE didn’t push the 10th anniversary of the Montreal screw job is that the company feels that Bret Hart is on their team because he did the Hall of Fame Ceremony. The two are also in talks of helping Bret Hart promote his new autobiography when it releases in the United States. Vince McMahon has also talked with Hart about doing a follow up DVD release.

WWE Champion John Cena will not be on NBC’s upcoming Celebrity Apprentice television show as first reported. TV Guide released the official cast list earlier today and it did not include John Cena.

After last night’s Undertaker vs. Batista Hell in a Cell match at Survivor Series, Edge left first to his music. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Batista was the second competitor to leave ringside, being helped to the back by two referees. Undertaker was last to leave the ring as he left to his music and did his fist gimmick at the top of the ramp.

Dave Scherer of the Pro Wrestling Insider is reporting that today’s press release issued by WWE regarding the Florida Developmental territory could be to send a message to Ohio Valley Wrestling as the company’s top training ground. According to Scherer, Triple H and Shawn Michaels were unimpressed with OVW when they last visited and it is reasonable to assume that OVW is being placed on notice.

WWE.com has added an article this morning confirming that they will reveal the meaning of the SAVE_US videos tonight on RAW. It is no longer a big surprise that they will likely reveal Chris Jericho as returning to World Wrestling Entertainment. If enough clues were not apparent in the videos, WWE completely gave it away by releasing the Magazine with Jericho on the front cover that also included an interview with him.
